The easiest
way to learn to play Vampire: The Eternal Struggle is to find some players in your area and watch a few games. And the easiest way to find players in your area is to contact your local prince (see the prince list) or check the player registry.

If you can't find a group in your area to learn from, try the online demo above for a quick introduction to the game before sitting down to play your first game.

You should start with one of the preconstructed starter decks (each player will need a deck). In addition, you'll need some counters (glass beads, stones, pennies, etc.) for use during the game. You'll need about 40 counters for each player (and the counters don't have to be different for each player).

If you have questions, look at the FAQ above for help. If you can't find an answer, the V:TES developer, L. Scott Johnson (LSJ), answers rules questions on the White Wolf V:TES discussion forum above and on the rec.games.trading-cards.jyhad newsgroup which you can read through your ISP's newserver or through Google groups. You can also email your questions to the developer at .
