Playing Cards

Vampire: Prince of the City uses a special deck of 100 playing cards. These cards come in five different types:

Activation cards represent special game effects that players may call upon if they control the zone described on a card.

Event cards represent a number of different events that would not only occur within a city full of vampires, but for which the local Kindred would turn to the Primogen (the players' vampires) for a response and resolution.

Retainer cards represent people that convey bonuses or other game effects to a controlling player.

Equipment cards represent items that convey bonuses or other game effects to a controlling player.

Strategy cards represent the different methods that a Primogen may employ to garner more prestige or resources.
