Notification about impending changes to the White Wolf website

White Wolf is going to be implementing some structural updates to our Website starting in mid-February and we want to share this information with our fans, so everyone can be prepared for the upcoming improvements!

First of all, the Webstore is getting a complete overhaul. We’ve streamlined the product listings, added improved searchability and new security enhancements. Instead of logging in once to access all aspects of the White Wolf website, there will be sections with separate logins, to better protect our customer’s private information.

The next change that will take place affects the White Wolf Forums. On March 1, the forums will be replaced. This process means that all the threads on our current forums will be going away. If you want to save specific information, please make sure to do so before the end of February. We won’t be able to recover it for you after the changeover happens.

Also on March 1, as some of the fans already know, we will be shutting down the chats. The storytelling staff for our official, moderated chats has been working since early December to resolve plotlines and provide a great closing story for the players. The dedication shown by this group of knowledgeable volunteers, in caring for fans worldwide is awe-inspiring.

Knowing that fans will be looking for new outlets to enjoy White Wolf games, one update that was completed in the late fall was the revision of our fan site sanctioning pages, were people can submit sites for review and once approved they appear at this link: http://www.white-wolf.com/fansites/ In response to a player suggestion, we will soon be adding a button for sites to indicate if they provide online play, as a way for chat/irc based fans to find each other.
