The VTES European
Championship 2009 will be held in Palma de Mallorca (Spain) from November 13th
to 15th, 2009. The event location is the Barceló Pueblo Park Hotel (www.barcelopueblopark.com), a four star hotel in the heart of the Palma
beach, 6 kilometers away from the Palma de Mallorca International Airport
(PMI). The three-day schedule is the usual one, starting with the Last Chance
Qualifier on Friday, and the actual EC tournament on Saturday and Sunday.
There will be plenty
of side events for those who do not get to qualify for the EC or simply do not
want to play any of the major tournaments: On Friday, the Official Storyline Event: Friday the 13th (http://sites.google.com/site/friday13storyline/);
on Sunday, a constructed and a Keepers of Tradition booster draft event; and on Sunday another Keepers of Tradition booster
draft event and the First Chance Qualifier for the 2010 EC.
EC PRIZES
Each participant in
any VTES event on Saturday will receive a commemorative playmat
and 40 blood counters (as long as they are in stock):

EC Day 1: The top 8 players will be appointed as Justicars, and each of them will
be awarded with a Justicar plaque (in Latin):

EC Day 2: The top 7 players will be appointed as Inner Circle members, and each
of them will be awarded with an Inner Circle member plaque (in Latin).

In addition, the European Champion will be awarded with
a commemorative silver ring.
