ATLANTA, Georgia. September 13, 2000 The new Sword & Sorcery Studio and Necromancer Games design houses announced that their first book will be Creature Collection, a fully illustrated 224-page hardcover rulebook detailing over 200 new fantasy monsters that are fully compatible with open-gaming D20 system rules. The Creature Collection will be in stores as soon as October 6th. Previews of its contents are available now at www.swordsorcery.com.

Clark Peterson, owner of Necromancer Games and producer for Sword & Sorcery Studio describes the new studios' publishing plans thus. "The Open Game and the D20 System Trademark Licenses are a wonderful addition to the health of the roleplaying hobby, and we're pleased to be a part of the roll-out of new products under these licenses. I think all D20 System fantasy fans will find something useful for their campaigns in both the core source material books like Creature Collection that Sword & Sorcery Studio is releasing, as well as the series of fantasy adventures that Necromancer Games will be releasing."

Necromancer Games' first fantasy adventure releases will begin in late October with Crucible of Freya the sequel to Wizard's Amulet (an introductory adventure for use with the open-gaming D20 rules, which is available now for free download from www.necromancergames.com). Crucible of Freya will be followed by one adventure supplement release each month from Necromancer Games.

Sword & Sorcery Studio and Necromancer Games have allied with White Wolf Publishing, Inc. to distribute the new studios' products to hobby game stores and book stores world-wide. White Wolf Publishing, Inc. is the sales and administration division best known for marketing White Wolf Game Studio's World of Darkness product lines such as Vampire: the Masquerade.

"Sword & Sorcery Studio and Necromancer Games are creating high quality products for the fantasy genre and D20 System play style, and we're excited about helping them market and sell their games," said White Wolf President Steve Wieck. "White Wolf Publishing's agreement with Sword & Sorcery Studio and Necromancer Games will enhance our overall publishing efforts by adding their fantasy D20 System releases to White Wolf Game Studio's Storyteller System products."
