Mid-april and we've just had the Swedish EC Qualifier. It was won by a

mainly Toreador based deck. Small vampires blocking and handling the

problem with concealed guns.



The Gehenna preview is up, and three cards are actually out in

circulation. The Erciyes Fragments, Prohecies of Gehenna and Antehelios,

the Red Star. Of these three The Erciyes Fragments makes most sense in a

blocking gun-deck. Cards to go for would be Blood Dolls, Auspex based

intercept of bounce and of course the occasional equipment you didn't

find place for yourself.

Prophecies of Gehenna seems most useful for a bleeder. Take a look at

your prey's hand before playing Revelations at inferior.



Of the cards seen in the preview Siphon could work well if you're

playing the Toreador with Obfuscate, disguising out Flamethrowers and

Ivory Bow. Just make sure to include some Toreador Grand Ball for some

useful refilling.



Nightmares upon Nightmares is another card that seems useful in a

Toreador Grand Ball deck. It would seem that the vampire nailed to the

floor qualifies as one who can be tapped. That means you lose very

little unless you're bent on creating weenies.

Just be a bit careful with this card. A Legion-deck could very well

decide to inflict this card on itself, refusing to tap any vampires

thus reducing it's hand-size and then go on a reqruiting tour without

any major impact to it's library.





I've been playing around with a Legion deck, and based on Toreadors at

that. It's currently more fun than good, but it does take an occcasional

game win now and then.

existing for a while longer and prevent your prey and predator the 

opportunity to handle all your small ones.

Toreador Grand Ball to make key actions unblockable, and Rutor's Hand for 

making them doubly so.
